Driving Directions from Atlanta to Back in the Woods Cabins

  • Approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes north of the I-285 Atlanta perimeter.


  • Take I-85 north from Atlanta
  • Take I-985 north from I-85 and continue on I-985 past Gainesville
  • I-985 becomes U.S. Route 23/441
  • Follow 23/441 north through Tallulah Falls
  • First Traffic light in Clayton is at the Wal-Mart store
  • Second Traffic light is Highway 76
  • Third Traffic light is a Day's Inn and 20 Penny Convenience Store
  • turn right on Rickman Road at the third traffic light
  • Rickman Road dead ends into Warwoman Road.
  • Turn right on Warwoman Road; at approximately 7 miles you will see a volunteer fire station.
  • Two miles past the fire station, turn right on Seven Winds Lane to a farmer's gate
  • Gravel-dirt lane is 2/3 mile to cabin driveway (concrete)
